The proven idea of happiness [full soundtrack and film videos]

YouTube is, as usual, an incredible source of talented musicians and actors! 🔍😍

I was looking for beautiful film soundtracks and I came across this amazing film called ‘ideas of happiness’.

#film #filmproduction #soundtrackZachary Nelson

First, let me tell you a little bit about the film soundtrack. The selected soundtrack playlist comes from a Berlin-based band called ‘Fewjar’ playing in multiple genres such as Electro, 80s, Rock, Progressive, Psychedelic, Crossover, Triphop. You can follow them on their various social networks by checking the links in their Youtube description below their videos. Now, sit back, relax, be patient and wait a minute for the first song to kick off fully! Don’t fall asleep, though! đŸ˜Ș🌟

What do you think about their music? If you liked it, download their songs from Itunes, Amazon or Bandcamp! 👍😉

Now, as you may have guessed, the film is also in German. But don’t worry because it is subtitled in English. Feeling relieved?😌 It’s a very well done psychological thriller. Although it’s my film genre, I truly enjoyed it and hope you will, too!

If you liked it, support the film project: https://www.patreon.com/Zeo

You can give as little as $1 per month so you won’t be too much out of pocket!💰

Music Without Borders – live concerts (2016)

First of all, before I start talking about the event I attended and sharing with you videos, I’d like to wish you all a Merry Christmas ⛄❄!

800px-merry_christmas_card

The charity event in aid of MĂ©decins Sans FrontiĂšres (Doctors Without Borders) took place on Friday 23rd December 2016 at the beautiful and cozy Workman’s Club pub in Dublin (Ireland)Â đŸ”„. There was a fun and warm filled atmosphere to it and the live concerts were very good!

If you’d like to know more about the event itself, check their event page.

https://www.facebook.com/events/653950094771897/

You will find Facebook and Periscope live videos on my fan page:

https://www.facebook.com/Fundraising.Music/?fref=ts

The music was varied. It started off with what I would call ‘ambiant music’ with Daniel McDermott playing at the keyboard and using other pre-recorded instrumental pieces. It continued on with a brand new Irish hip hop duet called ‘God Creative and Crimes Against’ and finished off with a folk and pop music band led by Conor O’Mally. Entry tickets and Conor O’Meally music CDs purchased by the audience went into the fundraising initiative for the charitable organisation.

Now, I’m sure you are dying to watch the Youtube videos, right 😜😉?! Here you go!

Did you enjoy these? Have you been to the event and want to share your own videos and pictures? If so, add them in the ‘Comment’ box below!

Eclectic DJ and reggae band at Favela Chic Paris (2016)

This was a rather unplanned night out I went for on Wednesday 25th May 2016. Had dinner across the street and was attracted to this bar and restaurant. So, I came in and must say this was a great idea!

reggae

This ‘Favela Chic’ club isn’t only playing – as the name suggests – Brazilian sounds, but a great variety of world music.

Here are few pictures of the venue, which I thought is quite rather original:

The main focus for this night was on DJ Arthur Chap. If you want to know more about him, check this link:

There was also a guest reggae band. Unfortunately, the band name is unknown to me.

Here are few videos taken at the event of both DJ and band performances:

Sankofa Soul Contest Paris 2016 – Semi-final 2

Here is an event I had booked in advanced that I found advertised on Facebook. There were offering two options: dinner + live performances (25  Euros) or live performances alone (pre-sale for 10 Euros and at the door for 12 Euros). I took the first option and didn’t regret it as the ‘Petite Halle’ concert room was full and I would have otherwise kept standing for 4 hours!

For those who would like to watch the soul singers’ final (10 singers selected from the two previous semi-finals), it will take place on Saturday 18th June at 8.30pm in the ‘New Morning’ concert place, 7 rue des petites Ă©curies, 75010 Paris, France. There is no dinner option for the final but there are seats, so come early and pre-buy your ticket if  you want to sit! Tickets on pre-sale are for 14 Euro.

Now, here are pictures of the candidates singing at the contest’s semi-finals 2:

Curious to hear how they sound? Here are few samples recorded of their performances (not necessarily the winners). Which one(s) do you like most? Comment!

Black and white expatriates’ networking party

While I was spending a holiday trip in Paris (France) in April 2016, I thought I might meet international people living in the city to have some fun!

I had found a black and white party advertised on the meetup.com website (Expats Paris) taking place at ‘rue du ColisĂ©e’  close to Champs-ElysĂ©es and Franklin D. Roosevelt metro station. I was curious to see what it’d be like.

There were around 60 people from different nationalities attending the event, meeting either to build communities or to improve their language skills. I was greeted by meetup members and organisors. Then I was introduced to Michael, who i had asked few questions online before coming to the event. He was friendly and introduced me to few guests.

Then, we spent a bit of time chatting around on the ground floor before hitting the dancefloor. Music was an eclectic mix of latin, arabic, pop and hip hop music. I hope you will enjoy the below video and mixed tapes! Do you also have other videos you want to share? Please don’t hesitate to do so in the comment section!
